If your document uses a non-standard font (brand fonts, custom typefaces), open it in Word → File → Options → Save → 'Embed fonts in the file' before uploading. Otherwise our LibreOffice renderer substitutes the closest match.
Only the sheet that's active when you save the workbook converts. Click the tab you want visible in the PDF, save the .xlsx, then upload — don't rely on whichever tab was active last time.
Speaker notes don't survive the conversion. If you need them archived with the slides, export notes separately from PowerPoint before uploading.
Some users paste tables as images to 'protect' formatting. Don't — native Word/Excel tables convert cleanly with selectable text. Image tables produce a PDF you can't search or copy from.
Your file is converted by a headless LibreOffice instance on the server — the same layout engine as the desktop application, not an HTML-based approximation. That's why page breaks, tables, headers, and footers land where the original application put them.
The conversion server carries the Noto family (broad Unicode and multi-script coverage) plus the Liberation fonts, which are metric-compatible stand-ins for Arial, Times New Roman, and Courier New — same character widths, so line breaks and page flow stay put even when the glyphs are substituted. For brand or decorative fonts, embed them in the source document before uploading.
LibreOffice renders a workbook starting from whichever sheet was active when the file was last saved — the same behavior as printing from Excel. If the wrong tab comes out, open the workbook, click the sheet you want, save, and re-upload.
