A4 pages are composited at 1240 x 1754 pixels and Letter at 1275 x 1650 — both 150 DPI, the standard for on-screen documents. Each image is scaled with Lanczos resampling (the high-quality filter, not a fast blur) and centered on a white page. Fit mode skips the fixed page entirely and sizes each page to its image.
iPhones sometimes upload raw HEIC bytes under a .jpg name when Safari's on-device conversion is skipped. PDFwarp registers a HEIC decoder that identifies the format from the actual bytes, so mislabeled iPhone photos convert instead of erroring.
